D Air safaris This is the typical
course or an air safari of several days (small alterations regarding the
accommodation are possible) Flight and first day: We pick you at your respective
holiday residence at around 7.30 a.m. Flight from
the nearest airport/airstrip at around 9.00 a.m. After around 90 minutes
flight arrival at an airstrip close to your safari residence. You are picked
by a representative of your camp/lodge who will guide you at this time. After
checking in, short briefing and unpacking of your luggage the first game
drive takes place at around 4.00 p.m. It takes 1 !/2
to 2 hours and is carried out in a four to eight-seater
cross country vehicle. If you have not booked the vehicle exclusively for
yourself, you will drive together with 4 – 6 other persons in one vehicle.
The exclusive use of a vehicle must be booked together with the safari. The
extra cost is 100 – 200 US-Dollars per day. You take your
dinner between 7.30 and 9.00 p.m. The second day: Wake
call at around 6.00 a.m. After a hot drink departure to the first game drive
before breakfast. After breakfast at around 10.00 a.m. you take part in a
second game drive which lasts about 90 minutes. Lunch
time starts at 12.00 noon followed by a relaxation time .
At 4.00 p.m. you start your last game drive of the day. In most of the camps
two or all three game drives can be organized in one long trip. At such half-
or full day tours the food will be given as breakfast or lunch packages. The day of departure: Check out
between the first and second game drive by 12.00 noon. After lunch drive to
the airstrip at around 1.00 p.m. Flight back at around 2.00 p.m.. On arrival you are picked by your guide and taken
back to your holiday residence. |
