road safari, 7 days Kenya from the
Masai Mara Plains to the Mountain Forest
 Day
1:
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta airport, where you will be
received by your tour guide and transferred to Jacaranda Hotel. Day at
leisure. You will be taken to nearby shopping malls, bargain markets and food
courts. Nairobi
also has several vibrant night spots such as discos, restaurants and high
class casinos. Transfer can be arranged on request. Overnight at Jacaranda
Hotel or similar.
Day 2:
After an early breakfast, you begin your safari taking a scenic drive to the
world famous Masai Mara. Stop en route at the edge of the rift valley
escarpment to see the stunning views. You will also see the Masai people on
the way, who live unaffected by modern civilization. Check in at your luxury
lodge and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon you will be
taken for a game drive in the park. Overnight at Keekorok
lodge or similar.

 Day
3:
Today you will explore the Mara Plains. After an early breakfast, set off
your game drive. You may stop and walk at special sites such as rivers where
you can see hippos and crocodiles. Return to the lodge where you may enjoy a
refreshing swim before your buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, leave for
another game drive to explore another part of the reserve. Expert game
tracking skills of your tour guide. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the lodge.
Overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar.

 Day
4:
Depart after breakfast for the scenic lake Nakuru
National Park, a bird
and rhino sanctuary. This lake is famous for its vast accumulation of pink
flamingos, renown as the biggest on earth. Arrive in
time for your lunch. A late afternoon game drive will allow you to see the
animals in the park. You will also be taken to the baboon cliff view point
overlooking the lake. Dinner and overnight at Sarova
Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 5:
After early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Mount Kenya Mountain
lodge, a tree lodge in the heart of the mountain forest. Arrive there by
lunchtime. The saltlick here attracts animals such as elephant and buffalo
among others. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge.

 Day
6:
After breakfast, depart for Mount Kenya Safari Club. Arrive at the club by
lunch time. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mount
Kenya Safari club.
Day 7:
After your buffet breakfast, you will leave for a scenic drive to Nairobi to catch your
return flight home. Your surprise gift from Monika
